Your question cannot really be answered accurately in this Forum because the equipment components come in boxes and have to be "manufactured" in your home. How tight is the attic? How much clearance is there in the opening? What is the certified technician's labor rate? What does insurance and state taxes cost in your area? What are the code requirements? Is sales tax included or added to this price? Yes there will always be someone that will put systems together for less than another person but there are others that will substitute cheaper components as well and want you to concentrate on the model number of the outdoor unit only. HVAC equipment requires a lot of maintenance and service so I'd recommend you develop a long term relationship with someone you trust and just pay their price. Otherwise, you will get burned time after time over the years. What you are trying to do is shop for HVAC system installed in your home the same way you would shop for a car. However, think about how car shopping would be different if you had to order an engine, axles, transmission, seats, console, dashboard and ...... and then have a local tradesman put it all together. If i put this purifier in a spot i believe the air is at its worse, will it work for a 13X13 area from that point forward or does this product become completely useless when its in a room any larger then (13X13).
